Our History

ADOVIC was founded by Margaret and Rosemary who are both Ugandan asylum seekers who have turned their personal experiences into a driving force for change for their communities back home in Uganda. As Co-Founders of Adovicuganda International, their leadership reflects a commitment to empowering others through their Mission and Vision.

Adovicuganda International is a beacon of hope for many in Uganda who are struggling with the challenges of poverty, diseases, poor living conditions, domestic violence, and unemployment.
Margaret and Rosemary who are based in Washington State mobilize resources to fund their efforts, demonstrating a deep commitment to their cause.

Margaret and Rosemary are both dedicated Rotarians who actively contribute to their communities through their respective Rotary clubs. Margaret is affiliated with the Rotary Club of Bonney Lake Tehaleh in District 5020, USA, while Rosemary is a member of the Rotary Club of Jinja City in District 9213, Uganda.
Through their connections in Rotary, the church, and friends both Margaret and Rosemary leverage the network’s vast resources to fund education scholarships, medical equipment, domestic violence and economic empowerment programs to families in Uganda. Their partnership exemplifies how collaborations can create meaningful change, particularly in addressing issues related to domestic violence and supporting vulnerable populations.
