Women Economic Empowerment

The Women Economic Empowerment Program supports women in Uganda by offering vocational training, financial support, and business mentorship. Many women face economic hardships and lack the skills or resources to start or expand their businesses.

By fostering financial independence, this program helps women become active contributors to their communities. It provides targeted training in business management, marketing strategies, and access to microfinance loans. The program encourages cooperative business models, helping women form networks that strengthen their economic resilience and increase their chances of success in competitive markets.

Objectives

To equip women with vocational skills, business resources, and financial assistance, fostering sustainable employment and economic self-sufficiency. The program provides access to small business grants, financial literacy training, and industry-specific skills development.

This initiative not only strengthens individual families but also promotes economic growth within communities, reducing dependency and fostering resilience. It also seeks to build leadership skills among women, ensuring they have a voice in decision-making processes that affect their economic and social well-being.
