Medical Equipment Program

The Medical Equipment Program seeks to improve healthcare access by providing mobility aids and general medical equipment to individuals and healthcare facilities in Uganda. Many people with disabilities lack the necessary medical devices to lead independent lives, and hospitals often operate with insufficient resources.

In addition to distributing essential medical equipment, the program focuses on training healthcare providers in the proper use and maintenance of medical devices. It also advocates for better healthcare policies that prioritize access to assistive technology for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Through partnerships with international medical suppliers and logistics organizations, the program ensures a steady supply of high-quality medical equipment to underserved communities.

Objectives

To improve healthcare access by providing mobility aids and essential medical equipment to individuals and health facilities in need. The program ensures that individuals with disabilities and patients with chronic illnesses receive the necessary medical tools to enhance their quality of life.

By equipping hospitals and clinics with modern equipment, we hope to strengthen the healthcare system and provide sustainable solutions for long-term medical support. The initiative also includes capacity-building efforts for healthcare workers, ensuring they are trained to use and repair equipment effectively, reducing reliance on external assistance.
